once shot pcp, you will not get back to spring gun. I get rid of RWS delux spring gun once get HW100 and Mrod 0.25. never look back. expecting Mrod 0.30 or 0.35 model. meanwhile, will use cz 28 inch barrel + RWS subsonic to deal with bobcat and coyote since 0.25 Mrod is not good at them at body shot. is searching for SSS 60 grain 950 fps ammo to see if that is a good medicine for bobcat and coyote: low report but heavy bullet in my ranch.
if you just shooting any air gun or pistol is ok if you are hunting, than accuracy, loudness, power are factors, talon SS (700-800 fps) or P-rod (650 fps) are both pcp air pistol.
Prod is very quite. my 0.25 cal Mrod is 850 -900 fps, very quite. TALON SS is louder if you do not put buffel kit.
i lost a little bit interest after shooting 100+ rabbit each year for several years (both my guns are very accurate and powerful, less than one inch at 50 yard), otherwise i would buy a Prod for easy carry and shoot. should be good for rabbit and squirrel and small bird.
