Question 1: Which rifling can handle 45 grain varmint ammunition?
Suggestion 1: Also, a lot of ranges in my area ban the use of tracer. Tracer happens to be cheaper than standard ball ammunition; thus LZ should pay attention.
Question:
My understanding is that 'slow' twist cannot properly stabilize heavy bullets as there is not enough angular momentum to be produced on bullet through its path in barrel. However, for light bullet (45 grain) etc, is there any problem for it to go through a 'fast' twist? Is too much angular momentum a problem?
