AAPD NIXLE ALERT

I've received a NIXLEalert from Anne Arundel County Police cautioning everyone to be aware of therecent increase in thefts of air conditioning units from residentialareas. Most specifically, the suspect(s) have recently taken units from areaapartment complexes. Suspicious individuals have been seen in the area and theyhave even announced their presence to residents. Suspects claim that they havebeen hired by the apartment complex to replace the outside A/C unit. Theyremove the old unit and leave the area. If you see suspicious individuals in yourneighborhood and you suspect they may be up to criminal activity, please call911 to have an officer respond.
