里面很多人的回答为什么德国没有搞Switzerland。
里面的理由主要的是成本高导致回报差。而Switzerland的地形和其独特的武装抵抗能力是两项比较公认的纳粹成本高的理由。

Every able bodied man in Switzerland is in the reserve military, has a rifle and is trained to use it. It is also a mountainous country which would have to be invaded through mountain passes. The Swiss had, and still have explosives pre positioned to cause rocks to fall and close those passes. It's a small country but almost impossible to successfully invade.
Switzerland has been a republic for a long time. It was/is a heavily armed, mountainous country that, while defeatable, would have taken huge amounts of national treasure and cost more soldiers then Germany could replace and for very little advantage.
hello
although hitler wanted to unite all german speakers, and had discussed anexing switzerland as 70% of the swiss are german speaking, hitler never attempted to invade
this article sums it up fairly well
http://history-switzerland.gesch ... d-world-war-ii.html
1. switzerland controlled the railway links from germany to italy, and in the event of invasion would have destroyed the railway / mountain passes
germany managed to negotiate that sealed box cars could be sent through switzerland
2. the german reichsmark was no longer valid international tender during ww2, and the swiss were more than willing to trade cash and gold ... and therefore were important financiers to the german war effort
3. the countryside of switzerand is mountainous and perfect for guerilla warfare
4. the swiss were overwhelmingly anti nazi
5. the swiss army was large and well equipped (430 000 men)
and switzerland is a federal republic using the principle of direct democracy
- Direct democracy, classically termed pure democracy, comprises a form of democracy and theory of civics wherein sovereignty is lodged in the assembly of all citizens who choose to participate
Germany did not invade or confront Switzerland before and during World War II because of the tremendously influence Swiss banks had on the German War Machine, and also because Hitler knew that the Swiss Army could seriously challenge the German Army.
Although Switzerland is a neutral nation, they had (and still have) one of the best armies in the world. If Germany would have invaded, the German War Machine would have came to a grinding halt fighting the well-trained Swiss in the Alps.
Another point worth adding is that all Swiss citizens are required to serve in the military at some point. If Germany would have attacked, the entire population would have been called into active duty.
One last interesting point is that Switzerland served as the only escape for some high-ranking officials of the Third Reich towards the end of the war as the Allied forces started to surround Germany. Many were able to flee to Switzerland in order to avoid the brutal Russians coming from the East. Many Nazis who were able to flee to Switzerland were able to avoid prosecution, and for some even death, after the war.
Some minor corrections (as all are saying the same, correct thing):
There were plenty of rail links from the Tirol to Italy since the area around Trent (Trentino) was/is ethnically German and was historically a part of Austria (then a province of Germany).
The military system that Switzerland uses/uses was an invention of the Germans (called the Prussian system) and was again used in Germany from the time Hitler repudiated the Versailles Treaty and exceeded the manning limit and Germany's population is much greater then Switzerland's. In the general system, people are conscripted for 2-3 years then put on ready reserve (the difference being that military weapons are required to be kept at home in Switzerland) until a certain age, usually 40-45 where they go to the inactive reserve (National Guard, ie, Landwehr) until retirement age.
While it is generally agreed that the Germans could have conquered Switzerland had they wished, it would have been costly plus self defeating as people have pointed out above due to international financing reasons. In addition, they would have only controlled the cities and had trouble with communications - no invaders have been able to fully control the Swiss - ask William Tell about that one ).
Switzerland is home to one of the biggest gold reserves in the world, if Hitler did take Switzerland he of financed his war machine and taken over the world. But he never tired, Between the terrain and the well armed citizenry, he was quoted as saying it was an impossible fortress for now. The US was also as lucking during WW2 the Japanese commander Yamamotto said "you cannot invade the mainland US there would be a man with a rifle behind every blade of grass. Armed citizenry saved the Swiss and America.
