But in field condition, what else are you going to trust? Visual estimation is even less reliable. I tested rangefinder, scope test before, and bullet ballistics before. 800yd was dead on the previous day, dialed 13MOA, spot on elevation wise.
The altitude, atmosphere pressure would make very very small difference. Like <1" at 425yd. That should not play a factor. Only external factor beside the gun system is wind reading. Wasn't any gusting. Wind condition pretty much the same difference between missed shot and the later on perfect shot.
The 308 at 300yd shot needed 2.5MOA adjusment, exact impact point as I aimed. Drop dead right there.
