sorry to dig up such an old post. But I heard that you are really into the C&R. I have a Mosin M39 Finish with VKT Hex Receiver from Jingdian wang. It always shoot high. I thought it was my sight picture's problem. But @CiTY_HuNTeR shot couple shots as well. And it was still high. Isn't M39 supposed to be the most accurate Mosin? Could it be something wrong with the refinish stock cause I strip off all the old finish and restain it. Is there any way to fix it? If I free float it, can it help?
