芝加哥城里枪友买枪过程分享

应@alex要求写一下我买枪的经历，因为住在芝加哥城里，买枪有点特殊

其实过程蛮简单，关键是要符合要求。

首先要感谢家里一直很支持，以及热心枪友和朋友的分享

买枪前，经 dengdengdeng引导，先看了下hunter-ed.com，又在qiangyou.org看了看，再看了看家防讲座的视频

去年申请FOID，填表付支票寄出，$10, 大概一两个月批准。现在可以在网上申请 https://www.ispfsb.com/，更方便
一直打算找时间先练枪，再买枪，无奈家有小娃，一直没有付诸行动（也没法转正发帖）

最近一些事情才促成了买枪的行动，主要家防，以后再考虑打猎
再次考古咨询，确定不可以买弹夹超过五发的半自动步枪，就锁定了买手枪和shotgun

芝加哥各个county规定都不太一样，
住城里的关于assault weapon的规定在这里，pump shotgun可以买，大部分手枪可以买，

cook county ordinances，规定要防止小孩随意拿到，只可以在家里或靶场枪店或者去这些地方的路上带枪，不能有laser

手枪经推荐，锁定beretta 92fs，拉栓上膛都比较轻松，而且有safety,比较适合我的习惯
cabela买的，带上FOID/驾照/绿卡，背景调查填表的时候注意选enter US as non-immigrant visa选NO. 然后输入绿卡alien number。因为现在背景调查人很多，当时不能出结果。不过芝加哥规定买枪要等72小时，所以也无所谓。付款发现还需要付$25firearm税，$4背景调查费。因为子弹不能直接寄到城里，所以很多网上优惠没法享受了，就在店里买的。店里各种枪选择很多，不过这个店顾客巨多，销售员不是很有耐心

一个星期后，shotgun入了mossberg maverick 88，因为大小重量更适合我，和mossberg 500区别是safety位置和choke，safety不如500方便，不过我打算shotgun只有紧急情况用，所以safety一直关，choke我看了这里的比较，发现家防的距离来说区别不大，主要区别在买的子弹(我买的The Flight Control Wad)

bloomingdale的dicks sporting good有，这次背景调查当场通过，不过长枪还是需要24小时候才能取。这次没有firearm税和背景调查费。店里选择不多，但是销售员很有耐心

带回来的时候，我枪放枪自带的盒子，车后箱下面的暗格，和子弹分开

那个25道是厨县的枪税。以后逛枪店前先将厨县的县境线在地图上标出，看价时要根据是否在厨县境内再做对比。

我是说的这条：是可以理解为可以有只能五发以下弹夹的半自动步枪吗？

Except as otherwise may be required by Section 8-20-030 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, “assault weapon” does not include:

• 1.	any firearm that:

  
  
  

  • a.	is manually operated by bolt, pump, lever, or slide action;

    
    

  • b.	has been made permanently inoperable; or

    
    
    
  
  

• 2.	any semiautomatic rifle that cannot accept a detachable magazine that holds more than five rounds of ammunition; or

  
  

• 3.	any semiautomatic shotgun that cannot hold more than five rounds of ammunition in a fixed or detachable magazine; or

  any muzzle-loading rifle, muzzle-loading shotgun, or muzzle-loading pistol which is designed to use black powder or a black powder substitute and which cannot use fixed ammunition, provided that this exception shall not include any weapon which incorporates a firearm frame or receiver, any firearm which is converted into a muzzle-loading weapon, or any muzzle-loading weapon which can be readily converted to fire fixed ammunition by replacing the barrel, bolt, breechblock, or any combination thereof.

是每把枪都会有枪税吗？

哦，没看到下面的exception。但是这句话本身的意思是你的枪最多能装5发的弹匣。这个我都不知道怎么能实现。
类似的话像俺们evanston就不这么说。

(A) A semiautomatic rifle shall mean and include a rifle with a detachable or fixed magazine with a capacity of fifteen (15) or more rounds.

我也不知道怎么实现，不过暂时不考虑步枪了，太复杂。以后如果搬到其他地方再考虑了

俺去年在那cabelas进过一杆AR15，起价比别的要低，最后总花费並不低，当时没注意。今年在那儿又进一手枪，最后价格一看並不低于其它店，才发现那儿是厨县地盘有特别税
