I understand that cops are working under the pressure, and appreciate their dedication. Peoples around me in the office are all under pressure, but that is not an excuse to make mistake. even so called "honest mistake". We always develop protocols and cross checks to prevent incident.
So does police, they are trained to handle all kinds of situations. If a cop is consider over react, it is a sign of problem. To me I see a serials of mis-communications, cop can ask him to slow down; black guy cal tell cop he will his license, just list some.
In this incident, cop can absolutely warms black guy, and also this cop is in a good position so to prepare him if bad thing really happens.
