What do you do when in "low threat situation", e.g. investigating a bump in the night?
I plan on leaving safety disengaged and thumb on safety, maintaining a proper firing grip whenever gun is in the hand.
One potential pitfall I can foresee is when picking up the pistol from elsewhere other than drawing from holster. Need more training on that, or use a dedicated night stand gun without safety?
Thus, I plan to have 3 nearly identical full size M&P 9 pistols in the future (and name them "Alessa", "Cheryl", and "Heather"). One for range, one for suppressed HD, one for carrying... Well, guess I'm "egg-pain" beyound all recognition once again.......
