我在盯着spike和BCM，其他还有啥也可以盯着不？

If you have the money, try nickle boron coated BCG. It supposedly increase the lifetime and decrease the task of cleaning BCG.

Spikes sells it, and other companies also sell it, I think, just compare the price and choose one fits you.

It seems both the normal BCG and the NickleB coated BCG from spikes use good materials:
Machined from 8620 Tool Steel (Carrier) and 158 Carpenter Steel (Bolt)

This BCG is made from 9310 steel, even harder than 8620(which is a normal choice for mechanical tools)

saw this guys' reply on a board, seems he knows what he talks about and recommend for 9310 steel for bolt:
his is all relative. Lets not get too technical and caught up in chemical compositions or metalurgic formulas and concentrate in what we can see, experience and the mechanics of it.

NATO is rated at 62K psi. So it is a lot hotter than the average ammo. But it is not just the ammo.
Let me explain. A carbine system vs. a midlength carbine sometimes run over-gassed and hot on the bolt so this puts
a lot additional stress everywhere. The lugs wear but not enough to be the main concern. The concern are stress cracks
and many times broken bolts. This can happen early or they can last past 10K rounds but in heavy duty use and carbine
length many folks report cracks around 3K to 4K rounds with average commercial 8620 bolts.
I have seen some go bad quickly but due to mistakes and shortcuts taken by OEM manufactures in their manufacturing
process. I think Midway was recalling a huge badge of their OEM Stoner due to those type of bad quality situations.
But assuming they are well treated and well manufactured and lets say one runs a mid length or even a dissipator setup
(smaller dwell time) in a smooth lower pressure and coller type of set up, then those could last a lot longer.

So it is not just the ammo, it is knowing how the system is running. I have seen many over-gassed systems sold
by well known companies. Initially I stay away from the carbine setup in 16". This should have never existed IMO as there
is no need for it. 99.9% of folks who have AR15s do not need slotted barrels to attach grenade launchers and that
is the only reason for the M4 carbine style with barrel cuts and increased dwell times. The gas block had to be moved back to provide room for the grenade launcher mount. This M4 fashion / setup gives more headaches than benefits.

An adjustable gas block helps and some pistons that are adjustable help too but my philosophy is before one
works in slowing down a 'hot' group to preserve parts, the best thing is to do everything possible to get a system
built and setup to run on the minimum amount of gas reliably and then run coller and more smoothly even with softer buffer springs.

So there is not one single thing that helps preserve the parts but several that might assist run a smoother
and more reliable system.

Use a drop of oil on the lugs to give some minimum lubrication and don't worry about wear. What you have too look out
is for over-gassed systems and stress cracks and broken bolt lugs over time but IMO in a well tuned system the reliability
and operation increases drastically. Of course milder practice ammo helps vs. using hot mommas all the time.
PMC bronce is a good round for practice and it runs a lot cooler than the NATO ammo. Spreads are 200 to 300fps slower
but this is not a huge deal for average practice.

Nevertheless, I like to have a decent quality bolt. I don't care so much about the carrier material as soon it is chromed and
well squared but in any case the whole BCG in an AR is the heart of the impingement system. So if one can spend a bit
more this is the place to do it in a good quality brand and reputable manufacturer.

I tend to buy good carriers and use C158 and 9310 bolts. This is specially important in the special calibers and also in the
6.8, 7.62x39, and 308w bolt face bolts where thrust is considerably increased.
But I have a few bolts in 8620 that run just fine. those are well tuned systems and do not use for high volume, fast shooting
anyway.

Good cleaning, lubing and decent preventive maintenance is a good thing. I also suggest to carry a spare firing pin, bolt and broken
shell extractor that might save the day should something fail.

It is cheaper than NickleB coated. But you can send the BCG to VMD to have it coated if you prefer.

Yes, 9310 is better than carpenter steel (158), 158 is better than 8620

so it seems the best is the JoeBobOutfitters Enhanced Nickel Boron Complete Bolt Carrier Group. Price is the same as other NickleB coated BCG, but with 9310 steel for BCG, harder(and better) than Mil spec carpenter 158 steel BCG you normally find in any other producers.
