Virginia的非绿卡(H1B)能买AK47吗

VA不允许非绿卡买assault weapon, 看了下VA gun laws对于assault weapon的定义:

"Assault weapons" are defined as a semi-automatic, centerfire, firearm equipped with a folding/adjustable stock, or equipped at the time with a magazine capable of holding more than 20 rounds, or capable of accommodating a silencer/suppressor.


请大家帮忙看看, 最上面链接的AK47是否属于assault weapon的范畴.

刚给VA state police电话, 接电话那家伙貌似不懂是怎么的, 说AK47因为这枪本身就是能装20发以上弹匣的, 所以它无论如何都是assault weapon....

不敢买了.....

这个上面说的跟楼主贴的内容差不多

非移民合法居民不可以购买”Assault Firearm“。 这个”攻击性火器”的定义是针对中心发火半自动步枪和手枪，凡有下列三种情况属于攻击性武器： 配备20发容量以上弹匣；能装消声器；有叠枪托。

现在关键的问题是，能装20发以上弹匣但是只装20发弹匣是否算assault？我觉得不算，因为很多半自动都能装特制的大弹匣，连SKS都有30发弹匣。我觉得这条规定就是禁止你使用大弹匣，但是这也不是由我来认定。
比较安全的方法是买saiga改装，不要上折叠托、伸缩托，也不要装bullet guide，这样默认只能用10发弹匣。但是AK外形配10发弹匣难看了些

at the time，就是买的时候不能附带20发以上弹匣

但是这个枪口装置，应该说的是“不能有” supressor，所以你得有一个pinned的muzzle brake

我赞成楼上上的，这个法律估计自从制定以来还没有过test case。要保险起见的话就从saiga来改。毕竟你让枪厂专门给VA的外国人生产一个配置是不大可能的。

这个应该是官方说法.

"Assault firearm" means any semi-automatic center-fire rifle or pistol which expels single or multiple projectiles by action of an explosion of a combustible material and is equipped at the time of the offense with a magazine which will hold more than 20 rounds of ammunition or designed by the manufacturer to accommodate a silencer or equipped with a folding stock.
1, 弹匣的事儿详见下划线部分, 看来VA state police接线员略扯淡啊, 你买了30发弹匣藏起来不用, 只用10发弹匣, 被警察看到也没关系;

2, 压根没提muzzle brake的事儿~~~`

3, 折叠枪托就不喜欢, 要个木托儿的;

小心被无良枪店钓鱼了。几年前mit上的枪友出过这种事，他当时买的sks完全合法，结果给搞到局子里去了。我劝你别在关键时候给你领导添乱了。
