T2 is okay. One of my fav Schwarzenegger movie but they didn't do shotguns justice in my opinion.
Sarah Conner didn't have to work the pump gun like that, nor did she use the side saddle at all.
Genuine real world shooting techniques like rapid reloading with AK type rifle, side saddle reload, rifle sling stabilization rarely show up in movies. Most director/producers don't seem to bother training the cast too much, but I can name a few good movies on top of my head where I can tell they put in a lot of efforts in that aspect:
District 9, I was impressed with the way the colonel operates a single point slinged SMG, and the sniper in the HELO had a brass deflector on the side of his FAL, and he was using his sling the right way.
Public enemies, where Christian Bale used his rifle sling to assist aiming, and even used the double set trigger to drop Prettyboy Floyd. Kudos to you Christian Bale for being the most professional movie star and Michael Mann for the attention to detail. Babyfaced Nelson also had that full auto .38 super 1911 which almost brought a tear in my eye.
HEAT, which is probably the greatest gun movie at its time. Again Michael Mann is the fucking man.
Collateral, the classic "two in the chest one in the head" Mozambique drill, and shooting a victim repeatedly in the head is exactly how you use a suppressed hi-standard .22lr. Michael Mann really knows what he's doing.
