An alien admitted to the United States under a nonimmigrant visa is not prohibited from purchasing, receiving, or possessing a firearm if the alien: (1) is in possession of a hunting license or permit lawfully issued by the Federal Government, a State or local government, or an Indian tribe federally recognized by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, which is valid and unexpired;
注意这里ATF明确写了要求猎照有效和不过期（valid and unexpired)
入境许可没有说具体文件，但是如果你不能给dealer提供相关文件证明例外情况，dealer 是不能卖给你的：the transferor/seller must record the type of documentation showing the exception to the prohibition and attach a copy to this ATF Form 4473. (See Instructions for Question 18.c.) 所以这个要求是很高的，提供这个证明文件的责任在购买人自己，dealer 有记录这个文件的责任。如果你就是个普通的来旅游的，你觉得一般的dealer敢听你说"sporting purpose" 卖给你枪吗？ |
