这个到底是制退器还是消焰器？

看图，我的理解是，一般是槽口平行于枪管的，是消焰器， 垂直于枪管的，是制退器。
那末这个是？

直观一点就是喇叭口(flash hider)和非喇叭口，但有一些flash hider长得不一样，比如三叉状的。

制退器一定会把气导向两边或者30度向后，flash hider则没有这个功能。但两者的开口必定比口径大，比如338的制退器不会开个洞正好.338, 都留有余量，比如10mm开口（.39) for .338. 同理为30 cal做的制退器也可以用在6.5mm口径上，反过来则不行。

消焰器
制退器的原理是改变火药气体，来改变力的作用方向；图里这个火药气体都往前冲，向后作用力。没有减少后座的效果，所以应该就是消焰器了

这个主要是 Linear Compensator - 前面几个 “刺”， 多少有点消焰的意思

Scottish 'Two-Handed Sword' Linear Compensator
