这哥们是不是啥都不懂？猎照也没有。再碰上个喜欢刨根问底的店主。

He was interested in buying a high-end rifle, but the fact that he offered his passport and student visa as identification raised a potential concern for Rob Porter, who owns the store. He called federal authorities to inquire if it was all right to sell a firearm to Dong.

“We made some calls to some departments that have asked us in the past to ‘See something, Say Something,’" Porter said.

State Police said they didn’t think there was a problem with the purchase. The FBI, however, wanted to talk to Dong.

Porter said there was nothing about Dong’s demeanor or behavior that raised any red flags. “He seemed like a nice kid,” he said. Dong did, however, show him his switchblade knife — which Porter informed him was illegal in New York.

because the fucking university expelled him,  the moment he was expelled, his F1 VISA was void, he was out of legal status.

he is in new york, and he is in a university, the home of the left.
meanwhile,  illegal immirgrates who killed ppl can stay and sue the federal government.

unlike illegal immigrates, a f-1 student is not protected by the d party.  in the left's eye, killing is not a big deal, but if you want to buy a gun, you are their enemy.

这倒是有可能的。也不要去这种对F1学生不友善的FFL去。如果他有猎照得话，那就是这个FFL台变态了。

再次和f1/f2 枪友们提个醒：大学时作弊云集的地方，把玩枪视为十恶不赦。同时珍惜和享受这自由，等你为工作搬到纽约加州就被阉了。

这个和在蓝／红州没什么关系吧。

枪店老板估计是看他没有Hunting License而且持有F1买枪，没把握卖给他联系FBI吧。
FBI也觉得没什么紧要的事情，但想和他交谈一下也没什么。
但是这个学生却自己主动交代了携带非法刀具。。。FBI也没定罪，只是把他带回学校。

这个学生是住校生（lives on campus）而且该学校禁止持有武器。

The Institute Grounds for Disciplinary Action prohibits "use or possession of dangerous weapons, explosive devices or materials, including but not limited to firearms, dangerous knives, BB and pellet guns, air rifles, slingshots, ammunition, firecrackers, bombs, whips, and martial arts weapons." Possession of weapons or firearms of any sort is strictly prohibited in all residence areas. Any weapons found will be confiscated by Public Safety and the owners will be subject to disciplinary action.

看来面临被递解出境的直接原因是被学校开除导致学生签证失效 而被开除是学校自己的决定

这个看上去就是学校SB嘛。。。。
什么刀都是找个借口，其实就是attempt to buy an assault rifle。觉得买枪就是坏蛋，很简单。只是别的学生没那么好搞，I-student柿子比较软好捏。


但是这个FBI把学生带到dean's office是什么操作？。。。

如果他是墨西哥非法移民或其子女这些作弊学校肯定另一个嘴脸，悄悄掖着，媒体装没看见。现在就是law也要按肤色种族来区别对待了，想象一下一个中国留学生做出 Jussie Smollett 干的事会怎么样？
