另外,去年10月份的事情,在NRA表示要诉诸司法以后,加州学校后来被迫向学生道歉。
After ordering student Haley Bullwinkle to change clothes because her NRA shirt was deemed "offensive," Canyon High School in Anaheim Hills has relented, apologized, and made it clear that Bullwinkle can wear the shirt again if she wants.
As Breitbart News reported on October 3, Bullwinkle and her father were told the shirt with an image of a buck, an American flag, a hunter's silhouette, and the inscription of the NRA violated the schools policy against "offensive, violent, or divisive clothing."
However, with the NRA threatening a lawsuit and a public relations nightmare on its hands, the school and the school district changed course.
According to an NRA news release, Orange County School superintendent Michael L. Christensen announced today that Haley's NRA shirt "was not contrary to the school dress code policy and the student will be permitted to wear the shirt."
Haley and her family also received an apology and "assurance that training will be provided to staff" so this kind of thing does not happen again.
