Honorable mentions: Aero Precision, KAK Industries, Mega, Battle Arms Development (they have a new 308 barrel coming out), Faxon Firearms (they have a nice new fluted 18" barrel) and Seekins (unfortunately, at the time of this post none of these companies offer anything but 308 chambers)
Bartlein
Bartlein is one of the best barrel manufacturers out there; however, you will not see an AR-10 blank on their website and as far as I can tell you cannot order one from them. I have heard that GAP sells Bartlein AR-10 barrels but they are not listed on their site, so until I can get confirmation that GAP will actually sell you just the barrel I am going to assume you can only get the Bartlein barrel if you order the whole rifle from them. I did find one online seller who does offer Bartlein AR-10 barrels in multiple chambers (including 308, 260 and 6.5CM) and that is Precision Firearms, but you can expect to pay a premium for these barrels.

Mark Chanlynn
Some of you may be saying "huh, who is Mark Chanlynn?" While Mark may not be well known on this site he is very well known in the benchrest community where for years he has been making cut rifled barrels that can spit out bullets into tiny little holes. Mark has also been working with AR's since before I was born (sorry Mark, didn't mean to date you ) and was building custom AR's with long barrels long before they became the fad they are today. I met Mark when I first moved to Colorado back in 1993 and he has been my go to gunsmith for years. Mark's lack of popularity probably comes from the fact that he does not have a website, but don't let that fool you, the man can make a barrel. But if you're still unsure, allow me to drop a few names and see if you can make the connection - Boots Obermeyer and AJ Goddard, and if you don't know those names then where have you been my friend! Boots Obermeyer is the legend behind cut rifled barrels (you know, the kind that win so many competitions) and Mark Chanlynn apprenticed under him with the likes of Mike Rock and Jack Krieger (and boy, if you don't know these guys then maybe you should find a different hobby). If that's not enough, hopefully you are familiar with Big Horn Actions, and guess where Mark's shop used to be located many moons ago - in the basement of "Big Horn Arms" in the liberal mecca of Boulder, CO! It was Mark Chanlynn along with AJ Goddard who came up with the Big Horn Action that is one of the best custom 700 actions you can buy - [color=rgb(94, 110, 101) !important]Big Horn Actions - About. So while you can't visit a website to order an AR-10 barrel from Mark, you would be well served to give him a call as he is a pleasure to talk with and is a fount of information to help you make a decision for your next build. Mark quoted me about $650 for a 24" 260 Rem AR-10 barrel with BAT Machine extension, but that's not just the barrel, that includes all of Mark's magic as he installs, fits, times, trues, headspaces and sprinkles fairy dust on it (think GAP)

JP Rifles
These guys need no introduction, if you even know what an AR is then you ought to know who JP is. They are one of the most innovative leaders in the industry and many people have caught the LMOS and SCS bug lately, but they also make some amazing Supermatch barrels and if you're really nice with them and ask nicely for a discount, well, they just might accommodate you. JP doesn't sell their barrels without one of their bolts so they specifically headspace the bolt to the barrel to ensure both are trued. Great folks to work with and very helpful in helping you make some decisions.

PROOF Research
PROOF is new on the scene and you can read all about the background of their company. They too use cut rifled barrels but with a twist; a twist of aerospace, NASCAR, uber expensive bicycles and the like - we're talking carbon fiber, and PROOF has a process for adhering that carbon fiber to a turned barrel blank so evenly that it distributes heat better than steel. Well dispersed heat means you can sustain more shots from your barrel without losing POI (point of impact) that tends to happen with other barrels. Not only does it help with heat dispersion it also helps with lightening the weight of the barrel (and besides, they just look really cool!) And if you're concerned about a carbon fiber wrapped barrels durability, check out this youtube video - PROOF durability test . And if you're still on the fence about modern technology, then how about the fact that Daniel Horner just won the 2014 3-gun championship with his PROOF Research barreled AR (granted, Daniel could probably win the 3-gun using a slingshot, but still)! PROOF doesn't spare any expense with their barrels as they also include the industry best BAT Machine barrel extension. Not only that, PROOF asks for you to send in your bolt and they will headspace and true up their extension to your specific bolt, this is a very nice feature they offer. All this technology comes at a price though, and that is the price itself, ouch!

Krieger
Also of Obermeyer fame is Jack Krieger who builds barrels that have won countless championships. The nice thing about Krieger is you can order direct from their website. Like Mark Chanlynn you can order the barrel and have Krieger assemble the barrel and stuff for you. It looks like Krieger will headspace to your bolt for an additional fee. Scroll to the bottom of this page for info on the AR-10 barrels

Lilja
These guys are another barrel maker that some of you may not have heard of but are very well known in the benchrest community. And like Krieger you have the benefit of ordering right from their website.

Lothar-Walther
If you're familiar with the LaRue OBR then you ought to be familiar with the L-W barrels which use a steel that they claim is much better than 416R and a lot of OBR owners would agree. Unfortunately, L-W does not offer AR-10 barrels off their website, but send them an email, tell them what you want and they'll send you a quote.

Rainier Arms
Oddly enough the only caliber Rainier Arms offers is 308. I really like Rainier Arms and they have a great veteran discount but they do not carry any other caliber for their AR-10 barrels which seems rather odd to me. Hopefully they will in the near future as a lot of people really like their Ultramatch barrels; hint hint Rainier, how about some 260 and 6.5CM offerings in your Ultramatch line.

Black Hole Weaponry
Now we get into the more budget conscious barrels, but just because these barrels are "cheaper" than others doesn't mean they won't shoot sub-MOA. These guys are definitely worth a look.

Fulton Armory
These folks have some pretty nice barrels and one of their offerings is a Krieger barrel, the others are all Criterion blanks. Most reviewers with these barrels claim to get sub-MOA performance.
