DC Police Chief Lanier just told force not to arrest a person who can legally carry a gun in DC or any state.
With 30 states having open carry without a permit, and over 11 million concealed carry permits valid in the United States, that pretty much means ANY one who's not prohibited can now carry, open or concealed, in DC. Basically, DC just becomes a constitution-carry jurisdiction overnight.
Of course, the legal process is still on-going, but this is just stunning!

是个好消息。但是给咱枪友们提个醒，还是要谨慎一些，不要做吃螃蟹的。除了这个官司还没有完全结束的原因外，DC还有其他的法律陷阱：

“Also note, magazine capacity limits would still be in effect as well as any restrictions on types of weapons. Basically anything carried would need to be DC legal. We’ll consult the laws and update this further.”
