yes, might be true, I totally understand your point. but that been said, they are no experts in gun control issues ( we, however, have given it more thoughts, and are better than them to make more reasonable judgement on gun-control ), so i choose not to believe them in their claims on that. however, these guys know more than any politicians on climate issues, and i tend to trust their professional statements

if some people with expertise in climate change don't agree on others, we would know their names and their arguments. this is academia, there is nothing more glorious than proving others wrong with solid evidence! sadly this is not what we see in this circle.

anyway, just my humble opinion

I got 71% Dem, 70% GOP.

I am modest right-wing based on the "map".

Don't worry. GOP today sucks as a right-wing party. It is normal for modest righties to disagree with them.
