那就给你看一个非常明确的法律概念:宪法里的"we the people"到底是哪些人
在1990年的UNITED STATES v. VERDUGO-URQUIDEZ案子中,由第九巡回法庭确认
“...the people,” for the purposes of protection under the First, Second, and Fourth Amendments, “refers to a class of persons who are part of a national community or who have otherwise developed sufficient connection with this country to be considered part of that community.”
基于这个interpretation,第七巡回法院在United States v. Meza-Rodriguez案例中判决,哪怕是非法移民,也属于2A所覆盖的"the people"的范畴,享有对应的权利。但是法庭同时说明,国会和州有权通过其他法律,限制非法持枪用枪的行为。因此联邦有权禁止非法移民持枪而不违宪。

总而言之,在现有的法律框架下,只有你有合法身份,有效HL,你的拥枪权和公民是一样的。至于法盲的美国普通人怎么想,关我们屁事。
