有连接才算？

thereof 形容clip，因为clip是装弹工具，一般不看做firearm的一部分，但是clip如果插在装弹口上，那么"attached to firearm",也算loaded

其余几种情况，都是直接的ammo in firearm，属于loaded

再说一遍
magazine IS part of firearm for the purpose of determining a loaded firearm

ammo in mag == ammo in firearm.

你前面的那段引用和这句话“magazine IS part of firearm for the purpose of determining a loaded firearm”的出处是？出处影响在加州的适用性。

另外，从你前面的引用倒是得不出后面那句话的结论。

"thereof"的意思是 "of the thing just mentioned; of that."

"magazine, or clip, thereof attached to the firearm" 意思是 magazine, or clip, (that are) attached to the firearm。也就是mag/clip和枪attached的时候，里面有子弹就算loaded。没在枪上就不算loaded。
