Dremel to cut slots on DPMS carbon fiber handguard

IS there anyone who cut hole or slots on carbon fiber handguard before?

my DPMS 308 hunter barrel gets hot after several rounds, I want cut slots to let air flow through it, make the handguard looks like the following picture

One does not simply dremel carbon fiber.
