Actually for any game if you stare at their eyes, it is hard to pull the trigger.  In combat, it is said it is very personal within 25 yrd and able to see enemy's eyes. It personalizes your target.

But if you visualize this way, it will be easy.

I thought almost all of SA hunting are fenced game preserves,except they are very very large. So virtually no difference from fair chase. Excellent game density.

There are very few available true wild lions.

Almost all mammals can be really cute and strike rapport with human if you raise them from babies.

Or leasing from land owner, or state park concession, etc. Not exactly sure they actually feed the animals, or just provide a habitat. It is a thriving industry. Like my boss 9000 acre ranch, they are wild animals, with no human feeding devices. I believe in South Africa, ranches would be fenced/patroled to protect from poaching or animal loss. I think the average game ranch size is 5000 hecteacre or about 15,000 acre. Pretty large I would say.

好问题，等我和猎导联系后会问的。我想他应该是租借农场主的地，因为一般都是当地主上几代才有那末多地。一般还会雇佣当地人Driving, Tracking, baiting and meat processing, etc. PH should accompany you during hunting.
