  各位枪友大家好 明天会去芝加哥过长周末 但是担心最近形势 请问芝加哥可以带啥家伙？ 放车里or后备箱 请问法律法规可以去什么网站看看？ 谢谢大家

只是盒子就好吗？ 需不需要上锁？ 子弹不上膛 但是可以分开放在后备箱行吗？ 如果被pull 需要如何及时告知警察？ 十分感谢！ PS ccw 那种case是不是不行？而且不能自我防卫 对不？

手头有本２０１４　United States Traveler's Guide to the Firearm Laws of the 50 States，　对比了一个网站，两者基本相同，传抄如下，

If you have not obtained a non-resident Illinois CCW license, you may still carry concealed in your vehicle.   Here is the relevant portion of the law:

(e) Nothing in this Act shall prohibit a non-resident from transporting a concealed firearm within his or her vehicle in Illinois, if the concealed firearm remains within his or her vehicle and the non-resident:


(1) is not prohibited from owning or possessing a firearm under federal law;

(2) is eligible to carry a firearm in public under the laws of his or her state or territory of residence, as evidenced by the possession of a concealed carry license or permit issued by his or her state of residence, if applicable; and

(3) is not in possession of a license under this Act.
If the non-resident leaves his or her vehicle unattended, he or she shall store the firearm within a locked vehicle or locked container within the vehicle in accordance with subsection (b) of Section 65 of this Act.

我觉得以此为纲，网上查到伊州在线相关法律条文，确认一下，就更有把握。仅供参考。

"a non-resident who can legally carry in public in his home state may carry a concealed, loaded handgun in his vehicle"

"long guns in a vehicle must remain cased and unloaded regardless of permit status"

我的想法是你在车上，车上有家属，那就无可退让了，保护自己和家人安全的自卫理由应该很充分。

尊循跨州运输firearms的general rule。但是这样其实就没什么意义了。
还是注意除了主要景点不要去其他地方吧。对于普通游客来说芝加哥没有那么乱。
非火器可以带点，pepper spray, baton之类的放随身包里。我的理解在他们成为恶意攻击他人的武器之前都是可以带的。pepper spray在密闭空间discharge好像是不合法的。刀具我没研究过，现在也没法查，你再问问Quimi

Sorry I can't type Chinese on this computer.  Just found out:  You can CCW in your car if you have a licence in your state:

Section 40
(e)
Nothing in this Act shall prohibit a non-resident from transporting a concealed firearm within his or her vehicle in Illinois, if the concealed firearm remains within his or her vehicle and the non-resident:
(1)
is not prohibited from owning or possessing a firearm under federal law;
(2)
is eligible to carry a firearm in public under the laws of his or her state or territory of residence; and
(3)
is not in possession of a license under this Act. If the non-resident leaves his or her vehicle Unattended, he or she shall store the firearm within a locked vehicle or locked container within the vehicle in accordance with subsection (b) of Section 65 of this Act


If you leave your car, you must follow the "transport" rule.  My understanding of the firearm transportation rules in illinois:

1.  The "case" is not clearly defined in illinois.  So a case can be:  a zipped bag, glove box, suitcase, etc. Almost any container and locks are not necessary.
2. Ammo can be in the same "case" as long as not in the gun.

3. No need to inform the officer when you are pulled unless he/she asks.
