Evaluation and discussion on Pistol Self-Denfens Class

John Reed, one of my favorite writer, is a no-nonsense guy. Here is his review on NV Front Sight self defense pistol training class. You don't have to agree with his opinion, but he does point out many issues (good and bad about gun training classes). I have taken many classes at Team Spartan training in Illinoise area. I agree many of the issues John raised also apply to my training classes.

有些观点有点过时了，比如他说Roughly speaking, the revolver is a far simpler, better design. 现在这个day and age，左轮跟半自动比起来已经没有任何benefits了。他还说半自动的弹簧不好，In Vietnam, we were taught to only put 18 bullets in our 20-round magazines because the spring pressure with 20 rounds in the magazine was so great it caused malfunctions. 这早就不是现在的，reputable弹簧厂家比如Wolff，会有的问题了。。。
