我觉得对于weapon，这段其实说明了一个moderate的、不偏不倚的态度，get adequately prepared, trust in the Lord, not the sword.

Bible 说得不错，按我的理解，要保卫你的房子和财产安全，要满足两个条件：

1、strong man，强壮的男人，不仅指身体强壮，同时应该具有勇敢的特质，strong and brave, strong will strong mind；

2、fully armed，全副武装，用今天我们枪友的话来说，就是handgun, ar, stootgun, knife 一起上，什么顺手用什么，什么能对坏人实施有效打击就用什么……
