it's not technically against any law, it just makes your life that much harder when you have to use it, when an over-zealous DA tries to ruin your life, therefore, it's not recommended, as the article suggested.

well, between not guilty and guilty, there're still some pretty meaningful differences

the point of the article is don't change your ccw gun, esp. trigger pull, unnecessarily, to give some DA more excuse to charge you and some uninformed jury to wrongfully convict you.  and don't forget the civil trial that will sure follow, don't give them more ammunition (pun intended ;) to ruin you financially either
