usually don't leave my pistol in the car unless I have to go to a government facility.
So the chance is really low

1. On yourself. Pros: really conceal, you don't have to holster it when you get off the car, comparatively easy to reach. Cons: Uncomfortable, not the easiest way to reach.
2. Glove box: Worst place to put it in my mind. Pros: conceal  Cons: no way to reach it in a short time, may forget when you get off your car, first place to search when your car gets broken in
3. central console: pretty much same to 1. except the uncomfortable part.

My favorite is mount it: I mounted mine to the right of my right leg: very conceal, easy to reach
Mounting it under the steering wheel or to the front of the driver seat doesn't seem too bad neither.

This is my mount in the car.
It is the Gcode RTI mount, once you have the base mount to your car, all you have to put the holster on. the best thing for this is you can switch out holster and gun. I have a Glock left hand holster and 1911 too. Glock also fits M&P, and 1911 also fits BHP. so pretty much all my pistol can be mounted and I can switch out whenever I want

恩恩多谢照片！楼上也有枪友提到这个mount，我专门搜了下觉得设计很高明，尤其是简易安装的双面胶和钥匙 ...

俺的这个是拿螺丝拧上去的那个圆盘 是base.然后holster是有rti的三角形mount 不但可以随时调整角度 还可以随时换holster换枪。整个系统成本不到20刀。natchez的gcode 打折时买的。

所料软 不用打洞直接拧 这是最好的方案了 个人认为
