刚刚看新闻说他距离凶手40 yards, 10发8中, 用的是glock 9mm, 而且还是双方在移动的情况下.   
这位一定是每星期都练的吧,  那么远还能打那么准. 他还不是警察也不是退伍军人.
绝对是我的榜样了.

Greenwood Police Chief James Ison also stated that Dicken’s first shot was from 40-50 yards away with his Glock 9mm handgun, which struck the shooter. In total, he fired ten shots, eight of them hitting the mall shooter.

“I will say his actions were nothing short of heroic. He engaged the gunman from quite a distance with a handgun,” Ison said. “(He) was very tactically sound as he moved to close in on the suspect. He was also motioning for people to exit behind him. He has no police training and no military background.” via WRTV.

A 40-50 yard is no easy shot. Back in Dec. 2019, Jack Wilson shot a man that walked into a church and started shooting people from roughly 12-15 yards away, and that was a fantastic shot. I’d be willing to bet that many concealed carriers aren’t practicing 50-yard shots with their handgun much, if at all. This is a perfect example of why you should.

Greenwood PD said a review of surveillance video shows the suspect began firing at 5:56:48.
                    
                    At 5:57:03 p.m., Elisjsha Dicken, an armed bystander, fired on the shooter from 40 yards away, according to police. Within 15 seconds from when the shooting began, Dicken fired 10 rounds hitting the shooter as the shooter tried to retreat into the bathroom but collapsed and died.
                    
                                
                    An autopsy found the shooter was shot eight times and none were self-inflicted.
