The 455 series are good guns

The 455 series are good guns but the 452 series are great guns. If you have a 452 with iron sights I assume you have the 452 trainer or the Lux. If it is the Trainer it is a fantastic rifle. They also make a 455 Trainer but it's not up to the same level as the 452 Trainer.
The 452 rifles are a LOT better than the 455 rifles. The 452's are inherently more accurate than the 455's.
The 455's are NOT being produced because they are better than the 452 and 453 models by any means.
They are producing the 455 series solely for the reason that they are cheaper and faster to produce than the 452 & 453 series.
There are some great picture heavy side by side comparisons of the 452 vs 455 out there. As well as some great literature explaining why the 452 series are so much more accurate than the 455 series. Replaceable barrels on the 455 are a big reason there not as accurate, but not the only reason.
As I mentioned in my previous post I have a 455 and am not knocking it. The 455's are really good rifles with typical CZ quality, but they are inferior to the 452 & 453 series.
I have the exact 455 rifle pictured in this post but the price on this one sucks and is way overpriced.
I bought the 2 barrel combo that came with a .22LR and .17HMR barrel.
Looking at whittakers list from there 2013 link it shows $454.99 for the (02120) .22LR/.17HMR two barrel combo I have, but I bought mine from another place and believe I paid $475 for the two barrel 455 combo.
