Cabela's® to Hire 250 for Christiana, Del., Store
Online applications being accepted now; doors scheduled to open in spring 2014

SIDNEY, Neb. (Dec. 18, 2013) – Cabela's Incorporated, the World's Foremost Outfitter® of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, plans to hire approximately 250 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees to staff its new Christiana, Del., location scheduled to open in spring 2014.

Applications are being accepted now and must be submitted online. Anyone interested in applying should visit www.cabelas.jobs, click on "Apply Now," then "United States Jobs." Then follow instructions to log in and apply.

Interviews will take place Jan. 13 to 17 at the Sheraton Wilmington South Hotel located at 365 Airport Road in New Castle. Applying does not guarantee an interview. Most employees are expected to come from Christiana and the surrounding area.

"Cabela's is thrilled to bring a retail location to Delaware," said Mike Adlesh, general manager of the new store. "We are looking for candidates equally excited to deliver Cabela's legendary customer service to the thousands of loyal Cabela's customers in the region."

Cabela's typically attracts as staffers experienced outdoor recreationalists, who join the Cabela's family of employees known for their passion for and knowledge of the outdoors as well as excellent customer service skills.

The 110,000-square-foot store – Cabela's first Delaware location – will be located adjacent to Christiana Mall along Stanton Christiana Road near Interstate 95. It will be built in Cabela's next-generation layout, designed to surround customers in an outdoor-like experience with museum-quality wildlife displays. In addition to thousands of quality outdoor products, the store will include a Gun Library, Bargain Cave, Fudge Shop and other unique features.

Cabela's currently operates 50 stores across North America with plans to open an additional 19 over the next two years.
